eBRAP (DOD)

The DOD's Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs eBRAP System allows PIs to submit pre-applications electronically through a secure connection and view and edit the contents of their pre-applications and full applications, as submitted through Grants.gov. PIs who need to review a submission register for a personal account via the eBRAP homepage and request affiliation with the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois.

PAMS (DOE)

The Portfolio Analysis and Management System (PAMS) is a web-based system employed by the DOE Office of Science for a variety of proposal submission and award management tasks, including LOIs, Budget Revisions, Award Modification Requests, and post-award reporting. Users who require access must create a personal account via the PAMS website and associate their account with the university. SPA must then approve the request and grant access for each record individually. Please contact SPA for more information.

Submit a Proposal via NSPIRES

PIs typically release proposals to their organization and the authorized representative of that organization submits it. However, specific instructions for submitting via NSPIRES can be found by clicking below.

Request a No-Cost Extension

The PI should work with his or her business office to prepare a NCE request, based on the Sample Request for a Sponsor-Approved No Cost Extension letter template. Once completed, this letter should then be forwarded to SPA for further action. If the award language indicates an amendment may be necessary for an NCE, SPA will review and sign the request letter and forward it to the sponsor.
