Since I have the option to request by Proposal Reference Number or Grant Code, when do I know which to use?

Answer

The Proposal Reference Number is the same as the Institutional Proposal number (IP#) from myProposals. The IP# is used for new anticipation requests. Whereas a Grant Code should be used when a Grant Code is already established. If you are unable to enter the Grant Code, the IP# should be used.
