When is it appropriate to use the GC70 System?

Answer

To request an Anticipation Fund or extend an existing Anticipation Fund 

• Preaward costs – you have a high degree of certainty the award terms & conditions will allow for preaward costs. 

• Costs prior to award execution – the department must have a high degree of certainty the award will be executed.  

• Extend a current anticipation request – requests are only valid for 90 days. 

In anticipation of additional time and/or funding on an existing Grant Fund 

• Overdrafts 

• Continuations  

• Expired awards
