Julie is responsible for the management and professional development of assigned award negotiators within SPA and is a subject matter expert on a wide variety of award issues, performing highly specialized and complex contract negotiations.

Karen leads the post-award function teams of the sponsored project lifecycle that administer the award account setups and management, invoicing, reporting, and closeouts.

Jayne manages data retrieval and analysis and automated tool development, supporting the research reporting needs of sponsors and the University of Illinois System. She also oversees various online systems and processes including cost share and semi-annual expenditure confirmations.

Kamil facilitates SPA internal and external training and outreach efforts and leads the campus-wide SPaRC program. She is also responsible for data management, data integrity, and reporting associated with the myResearch Portal and myProposals systems.
